Refer to the NatruallySpeaking help file for a full list of all commands and limitations.  On the NaturallySpeaking "Dragon Bar" click: Help, Help Topics, then open the chapter: Working in Programs, Internet Explorer.

Note:  If one of the commands listed does not work, try adding the word "Click" at the beginning of the command, i.e. "Click Image"



Navigating the Web
What you say
What you get
  • link name
NaturallySpeaking will launch the hypelink where link name is the link text, is contained in the link text, or is the name of a graphic image link (the name displayed when the mouse passes over the image.)  If more than one link contains or matches link name, numbers will be desplayed.  In this case say "Choose x" where x is the number of the desired link.
  • Go to Favorites name
Displays the web page stored as name in the Favorites list.
  • Go to Address
Selects the entry in the web page Address Bar.
  • Go There
  • Click Go
Loads the page listed in the Address Bar.
  • Image
Numbers all image (picture) links.  To follow a link, say "Choose x" where x is the number of the link you would like to follow.
  • Link
Numbers all links on a page.  To follow a link, say "Choose x" where x is the number of the link you would like to follow.
  • Go Back
  • Go Forward
Returns to the previous web page / Advances to the next web page.
  • Go Home
Loads the default (start up) home page.
  • Refresh
  • Reload
Refreshes the current  page contents.



Moving Around a Web Page

Moves the page up or down by a screen.
  • Move Up/Down 1-20
Moves the page up or down by 1 to 20 lines
  • Go to Top
  • Go to Bottom
Goes to the top or bottom of the page.
  • Start Scrolling Up
  • Start Scrolling Down
Starts automatic scrolling, up or down.
  • Speed Up
  • Slow Down
Automatic scrolling speeds up or slows down.
  • Stop Scrolling
Stops automatic Scrolling.

Entering Text and Data

  • Type Text
  • Click Edit Box
Numbers all the places where you can enter text.
  • Check Box
  • Click Check Box
Numbers all the check boxes on the page and goes to the first one.
  • Radio Button
  • Click Radio Button
Numbers all of the option (radio) buttons on the page.
  • List Box
  • Click List Box
Numbers all of the list boxes on the page.
  • Show Choices
  • Hide Choices
Show or hide the choices in the current list box.
  • Choose x
Choose the number x when multiple matches are numbered.
